We have had Verizon wireless service for many years and until about a month ago had no issues with service in our home . However, now calls are constantly dropping, texts refuse to send/receive, etc. while in our home. Nothing has changed in our home, yet our service is abysmal.
I've had either BellSouth or AT&T service here for the last 36 years, landlines originally, and later I did away with my home phones and I now just have a cell phone. My late husband even retired from BellSouth in 1991. Also, users will get +Play notifications every time a free trial period ends or if there are price changes to any subscription.

People with ATT phones lose signal when they drive into my lane. The AC repairmen who come to my house have wireless service but they have verizon. Why has the ATT service in this area declined so much and Verizon service has increased.
I have a 3G Microcell and that works sometimes. I also have wifi calling but miss most incomming calls. I also have a booster and still have crappy service. I purchased a Tracfone from a national shopping network for 99 bucks that uses Verizon service.

Please provide me with some detials. Looking forward to hearing back from you. We’ve added new monthly plans to our lineup to offer you greater flexibility and more options. With Total by Verizon plans, you get to experience wireless freedom like never before. @Mike_Katz @TMobile Funny how ever since Tmobile and Sprint got together my connection has gone to hell. Also why do I completely lose service after a couple hours on wifi?
You can enable Advanced Calling on your devices and use Messages+ to make and receive calls and texts over Wi-Fi. Verizon noted that the initial beta launch is only just the beginning, as the platform will evolve over time, with plans to add new services, exclusive offers and features. With the discount, you could add Verizon's 5G Home internet for $25 per month, or half off its regular rate . There are no additional data caps or speed restrictions and you can still take advantage of Verizon's 10-year price lock guarantee at this lower rate. Other perks, like the free gift card offers the carrier has been dangling for new users, also still apply.
New plans
Thanks to Verizon customer support for working with me via Twitter! We are going to try out some wifi calling and if that doesn't fit the bill, we will get a signal extender. Nowhere in your agreement does it sate that Verizon is responsible to make your service work inside of any structure. It is possible that your home "is a signal black hole". There are too many factors and if you have to travel 2 miles to get service, my guess is that your home is outside of the range of the closest cell tower. What exact specification is required for a phone to support wifi calling?
You’ve just moved into a lovely new house complete with everything you ever wanted—except the ability to call anyone. If you don’t seem to get a cell signal inside your home or office, here’s how to keep making calls and texts. Use this Verizon Troubleshooter to quickly determine any issues with device settings, NumberShare, or applications that may impact your ability to send or receive text messages. Do all this and more, without waiting for a live agent!
In the last three months, how would you rate Verizon Wireless?
As for those who live in an area where Fios is available, the carrier tells CNET that it will expand the offer next week to include the wired broadband option. @VerizonSupport Hello, thank you for the canned response. Same as when I call customer support.
Most messaging options—like Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, and Skype—allow you to make voice calls and send messages to any of your friends within those apps. However, this trick has its limitations. Your carrier may not support Wi-Fi calling on certain older phones, or on models the company does not sell. If it does let you set up wireless calling, it may not allow certain phones to send group or picture messages over Wi-Fi. Make sure to check with your carrier to find out whether this feature will work for you.
We recommend buying your device from a store with a good return policy so you can test it before committing, since everyone’s home is different. If Wi-Fi calling doesn’t work for you and you’re unwilling to buy a new phone, there are other solutions—though none of them are quite as seamless. That link doesn't work anymore for accessing the private messages on this community forum. Abcadkins, I understand how important it is to be able to use your phone while at home. Many factors outside of Verizon’s control can contribute to indoor performance even in cases where you may have had service in the past. To assist you with having a more consistent indoor experience we have a number of technology solutions available to you.
You can also take advantage of Wi-Fi Calling from AT&T to talk and text over any active Wi-Fi connection. This is the right place but not sure anyone can help you. There are many possible reasons your service has suddenly gotten bad. It could be anything from cell tower issues to new construction to cell phone issues and figuring out the cause is no simple task. Your best bet is to download the Mark the spot app and report the poor coverage. Those reports go directly to network engineers.
